All-new Mazda6 embodies Mazda's powerful new design language, KODO- Soul of Motion. Its sculpted body reflects the strength and
streamlined beauty of an animal poised to surge forward. A bold front grille emphasises the car's wide stance. Muscular shoulders and graceful lines convey its lean, sporty character.
SKYACTIV Technology is a complete approach to making driving more exhilarating, while at the same time improving fuel economy and reducing CO2 emissions. Innovation is at the heart of SKYACTIV Technology, it is focused on optimising the internal combustion engine and enhanced lightweight engineering. The result is award winning technology, as recently recognised with What Car's? Ultra-low carbon award 2013. SKYACTIV Technology combines efficient and exceptional environmental credentials without compromising performance.
The all-new Mazda6 is the first production car to adopt Mazda's fuel saving technology; i-ELOOP (intelligent energy loop). A regenerative braking system that recovers lost kinetic energy during deceleration and stores this as electricity in a quick charging capacitor. Providing a source of power to all electrical components for up to one minute, such as the headlights. This reduces the reliance on engine power to charge the car battery when accelerating, which ultimately improves performance and; fuel economy by up to 10 percent, dependent upon driving conditions.
